HIDDEN PICTURES AND OTHER PIECES. READERS

These new self-access readers provide students with a wide range of motivating material from which to choose, from magazine, newspaper and book extracts to instructions, comic strips, short stories and poems. These readers are designed to accompany The New Cambridge English Course Levels 1 and 2, or other elementary and low-intermediate course books, giving students extra reading practice to supplement the reading material in the course book. Life on earth and other pieces can be used when learners have covered the first half of The New Cambridge English Course Level 1; Fortune for free may be used at any stage during the second half of Level 1; Hidden pictures can be used when students have covered the first half of Level 2; Family business can be used at any stage during the second half of Level 2. Each book is highly illustrated throughout and also contains optional mini-tasks.
